Backyard Renovation backed by Since 2016 years of local experience

J Goldsmith Outdoor Living was founded with a straightforward goal: help Metro Atlanta homeowners build outdoor spaces worth spending time in. We saw too many backyards sitting unused, either because the design didn't fit the homeowner's life or the construction didn't hold up. We set out to do it differently, with a team that stays closely involved from the first conversation through the final walkthrough.

J Goldsmith Outdoor Living is a boutique design-build company, which means we handle both the design and the construction under one roof. That integrated approach keeps communication clear and the finished product consistent with what you actually wanted when you started.

We specialize in custom outdoor living spaces: patios, covered porches, outdoor kitchens, decks, fire features, retaining walls, hardscaping, drainage solutions, landscape lighting, and full planting and landscape installation. Whether you want a quiet morning coffee spot or a full backyard built for entertaining, we plan each project around how you and your family actually use your space.

Every project starts with a real consultation, not a quick walkthrough and a generic proposal. We ask questions, look at the site conditions, and think through the details before anything gets drawn or priced. That planning process is what keeps surprises off the job site and out of your budget.

Your project is managed by the J Goldsmith Outdoor Living team from planning through construction. Our project team provides on-site coordination and oversight as needed throughout construction, and site visits are scheduled as needed throughout the design and construction process. You'll have a clear point of contact throughout your project, with our team available to keep you informed and answer questions along the way.

We work throughout Metro Atlanta, including Alpharetta, Milton, Roswell, Johns Creek, Sandy Springs, Marietta, Brookhaven, Dunwoody, Decatur, Canton, Smyrna, Kennesaw, Peachtree Corners, Tucker, and Chamblee. If you're in the area and ready to make your backyard work for you, we'd like to hear about your project.
